The Altun Ha and Zip Line Excursion starts a few feet from your tender in the Port of Belize City where you will board your van for the drive to Altun Ha.
Altun Ha is located close to the Belize City Port, a short 1hr drive from the Cruise Ship Terminal. The Temples and manicured grounds at Altun Ha make your visit to this magnificent ancient City a fantastic family-oriented activity.
You will not find steep hills or sudden drop-offs. Instead, you will walk over smooth, manicured grass and paths. You will be able to admire all the structures or walk to the top of some of the most majestic Mayan Temples to be found in Central America with ease.
Belize offers exemplary Mayan Ruins. These ancient Mayan Temples were once Cities, Towns, Religious Temples, and major trading posts for the ancient Mayan civilization.
Your Guide will personally drive you to the Mayan Temple of Altun Ha and will narrate the walk with you throughout this magical ancient Mayan City.
Following your visit to Altun Ha, we continue on to our beautiful Zip Line Park.
The Belize Zip Line Park Tour begins in our rain forest in the crocodile conservation area. Your bilingual-speaking Guides will guide you through the park to the staging area. Guides will help you with your gear, your harness, helmet, and hand gear in preparation for your aerial adventure.
The zip line adventure consists of 7 platforms, with 4 full river crossings! Your Zip Line adventure begins from the first platform where you will “jump” from the first platform to zip to the next platform found 150ft away.
Flying through the air surrounded by nature is the most exhilarating feeling ever encountered, the parrots, macaws, toucans, and Howler Monkeys found onsite will be at eye level making you one with the prolific nature Belize is famous for.
All landing platforms are equipped with safety gear, handrails, and Guides to meet your next landing as well as to ensure your personal safety throughout the tour.
The Altun Ha and Zip Line Park explorations are followed by a wonderful Belizean lunch. Belize is well known for its tropical cuisine. The Belize national dish, Belizean Baked Chicken and Rice & Peas are not to be missed!
