Belize Jungle Horseback Riding

Belize horseback riding is a treat in wildlife, savannah and rainforest exploration.  Our Belize horseback riding stable is located just one hour away from the Belize City Cruise Ship Terminal.  With over 10,000 acres of lush tropical surroundings you will be able to truly explore the hidden secrets of Mayan Rainforest with your gentle horse.    

Keeping to tradition only small groups of up to 12 people will be riding at one time with our informative guide.  After the horses are fitted at the Stable instructions will be given to all who are taking part in the ride.  The guide will then lead you from the stable through the savannah in order to reach the rainforest, on the way you will encounter families of Spider Monkeys living in the nearby trees, exotic birds, raccoons, wild boars to name a few.  The nearby forest is teaming with exotic animals, this will surely be the most exciting horseback ride of your life! 

The horses are all of pure stock, descendants of Spanish horses brought to Central America years ago.  They are healthy, dependable, friendly and eager to please.  The horses are completely familiar with the surroundings and most have been bred at the stables.  Because the horseback rides are all guided this excursion is perfect for expert riders and beginners alike.

• Dedicated Pick Up from Inside the Port a few steps from your tender, no need to venture outside the Port to find your Guide!
• All excursions are organized to depart according to each individual Cruise Ship Arrival and Departure Time in Belize.  All excursion departures differ from day to day depending on the Ship in Port in order to assure an adequate meeting time at the Port as well as a safe return back to the Port before your Ship's departure.
• Instructions are always given: Whether this will be your first horseback ride or you own your own horses instructions are always given.  Our guides will match the right horse for the rider according to expertise.
• Explore the vast Savannahs: The Stable is located in over 10,000 acres of virgin land, a vast savannah will be crossed before you will reach the rainforest.  This is where most Spider Monkeys live.
• Enter the pristine Rain Forest:  Your guide will lead you through pristine Rainforest where you will encounter majestic trees, Black Howler Monkeys, Peccary, Anteaters, 100 + exotic birds and more.
• Relax by the Pool:  Relax by the Pool following your ride and enjoy one of the many tropical drinks served by this exclusive 5 Star Resort.
• Jungle Spa Too!: The horseback riding is located at our Belize Jungle Spa where you will be able to enjoy Spa signature treatments following your horseback ride.  Pure bliss!

TIPS: Horseback riding is fun and exciting, bring a pair of Jeans and tennis shoes, as well as t-shirt/shorts and a bathing suit.  You will be able to change in one of the many changing rooms found on the Resort.  For those of you with children the menu does not mention any child friendly options, the Resort does have hotdogs, hamburgers and sandwiches available, just make sure to ask.  The juices are all fresh and exceptional.  Try the watermelon juice it's simply delicious!
